A Continuing Education and Training (CET) programme is available in Ireland so that Dispensing Opticians and Optometrists may update their knowledge and skills. Of an annual requirment of 12 CET points, 7 can be obtained through the Association of Optometrists in Ireland (AOI) and 5 through non-AOI organisations.
